Step by step
Every stage, explained
Your first consultation
We take the time to understand what you would like to change about your smile. We examine your teeth and bite, take any scans or x-rays we need, and talk through the options that could work for you — all in plain language, with no pressure.
Your personalised plan
Once we know what suits you, we map out your treatment from start to finish — the appliance (braces or clear aligners), the expected timeframe, and the cost. We will also walk you through your payment options so you can plan with confidence.
Getting started
This is the day your treatment begins — fitting your braces or providing your first set of aligners. We show you exactly how to look after everything, what is normal in the first week, and how to reach us if you have any questions.
Along the way
You will see us regularly for check-ins and adjustments so your treatment stays on track. We keep you updated on your progress at every visit, and we are always here between appointments if something needs attention.
The finish line
When your treatment is complete, we carefully remove your braces or finish your aligner series and fit your retainers. We will show you how to keep your new smile looking its best for years to come.
Good to know
Questions patients often ask
How long will my orthodontic treatment take?
It depends on what we are treating and the approach we choose together — some cases take several months, others a couple of years. We give you a clear estimate as part of your personalised plan so you know what to expect.
Will treatment be uncomfortable?
It is normal for teeth to feel a little tender for a few days after your braces are fitted or when you move to a new aligner. This settles quickly, and we will show you simple ways to stay comfortable.
What if something breaks or comes loose?
Just give us a call on (02) 6672 1980. Most issues are easily sorted, and we will get you in promptly so your treatment stays on track.
