Questions about paying for treatment
Do I have to pay for my whole treatment up front?
No. We accept all major health funds with on-the-spot HICAPS rebates, and for the gap or larger treatment plans we offer several payment options — Afterpay, DentiCare, and Medipay — so you can spread the cost in a way that suits your budget.
Which payment option is right for me?
It depends on the amount and the timeframe. Afterpay suits smaller, everyday costs paid off over six weeks. DentiCare is an interest-free plan handled in the practice for mid-range treatment. Medipay is designed for larger treatment and lets you spread payments over a longer term. We are happy to talk it through with you at your appointment.
Is there interest to pay?
Afterpay and DentiCare are interest-free when you pay on schedule — you only pay the treatment amount. Medipay is a payment plan for larger amounts and fees and charges apply; you can see an estimate using its calculator before you apply. Every plan is subject to the provider’s own approval and eligibility criteria.
Will taking a payment plan affect the treatment I receive?
Not at all. Your dentist recommends what is right for your teeth first — how you choose to pay is a separate conversation. Payment plans simply make it easier to go ahead with care sooner rather than putting it off.
