Dan’s story
Dan’s path to dentistry started early. A lifelong interest in healthcare and the idea of making a practical, visible difference in people’s lives led him to Griffith University, where he graduated in 2011.
From there, his career took an unusual turn — Dan served in the Australian Defence Force, working across various barracks. That experience shaped the way he practices today. Military dentistry demands calm under pressure, clear communication, and the ability to build trust quickly with people who would rather be anywhere else. Those habits stuck.
After the Defence Force, Dan brought that same steady, patient-first approach to private practice. At Biltoft Dental, he has built a team that shares his values: no rushing, no pressure, no jargon. Just good dentistry delivered by people who care.

Fixed braces and clear aligners for patients of all ages. Dan particularly enjoys the transformational side of orthodontic work — watching a patient’s confidence shift over the course of treatment.

3D printing, digital oral scanning, and modern restorative techniques. Dan has invested in bringing these tools to Biltoft so patients can benefit from less guesswork and more precision.
Family-centred care
From toddlers to grandparents, Dan treats every member of a family the same way — with patience, warmth, and an honest conversation about what needs doing and what does not.
Outside the practice

When he is not at the practice, Dan is usually with his wife Angela and their two kids — at the beach, out in nature, or watching a footy game. The same easy-going, balanced approach you will meet at Biltoft is who he is on the weekend too.
